I am Lulu, Who Are You?

</br>I am Lulu the Lop. My owner adopted me from SPCA because the other grey one that she liked was already taken.
She said she's now glad that she chose me because i let her see how broken spirits can be healed eventually.
I was named Snowball by my previous owners even though i was charcoal black, with two sides of bleached brown fur. My mummy said the name was too stupid for a black bunny, so she called me Lulu instead (Hokkien for Or Lu Lu).
Mummy then later found out that the two ugy patches of brown fur was actually caused by sunburn. She learnt that my previous owners refused to bring me in when the sun shines in during the afternoon. I had to move around my cage to avoid the sun, but it had no shelter at all. That was why i resisted my mummy's stroking at first- the skin was too scorched and any touch, no matter how gentle, was painful.
When i first came to my mummy's house, i was afraid of everybody. I finally could get some respite from the sun in spca, will this owner leave me under the sun again? But when i learnt that i would be living in her room, everything became much better. I was still the scaredy-cat (or scaredy-bunny) and i hated anyone touching or carrying me. I wouldn;t bite but i would shiver uncontrollably when i'm held. Luckily my mummies are really patient people and they started with soft forehead rubs.
Big Mummy was the more creative one. She placed me in another empty room and she lied down on her back with her legs and arms sprawled. I was allowed to hop around her while she lay there unmoving. When i finally felt safe with her, i begin to snuggle beside her and took a short 10 minutes nap. Big Mummy said that the moment was unforgettable. She told me she loves me really softly, but i pretended not to hear it and snooze on.
Small Mummy is the one who has to handle me daily. I love her alot and she's the best mummy in the world. She knows i make a newspaper mountain when i'm bored, so she would bring me out to the field for a run. I love the field. It's like a buffet spread of fresh grass for me. I love to go near the edge, but mummy said there are evil red ants there which would give me a really painful bite. Well, i wanted to make friends with them actually.
Everynight, i would snuggle beside Big Mummy and doze off while she does her nightly bedside reading. When Big Mummy finally feel sleepy, she would put me back to my hutch. I always get grumpy at that point because i don't have Big Mummy's fat arms to cushion my head in the hutch.
Big Mummy, Small Mummy and Queen Mummy says i behave more like a puppy than a rabbit. It's because i'm a clever bunny who runs to them when my name is called. I also give them a licks to show that i love them. Bunnies try to groom their loved ones you see. Oh, i also lie on Queen Mummy's lap when she watches TV every night.
I know i need to 'saka' Queen mummy the most. When Big Mummy and Small Mummy brought me home, Queen mummy (she;s the queen because she;s the mummy of the mummies) was really unhappy. She said that all bunnies are smelly. Lckily i;m a really clean bunny (most of the time) and i'm such a sweet creature that Queen Mummy fell in love with me.
Now Big Mummy is in Perth for her studies, i only have Small Mummy, Queen Mummy and Shampoo. (that's big mummy's younger sister.) Big mummy really misses me, but i tell her not to worry because Queen and Small mummies are taking really good care of me. Big mummy said she
s really happy to see all the nasty brown patches of fur being shed away. I have ebony black shiny furcoat now.
I am Lulu the Lop, whom Big Mummy thinks is overweight from my Small Mummy and Queen Mummy's treats. Well, i;m a lucky bunny, and all lucky bunnies look abit round. So who are you?
